Privacy Policy

Lioréa Lounge ("Lioréa", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through liorealounge.ca, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

• Franchise inquiries. If you complete the franchise inquiry form, we receive what you enter: your name, phone number, email address, city and province, preferred location, estimated investment capacity, desired opening timeline, business ownership experience, and any message you write, along with your consent to be contacted.
• Emails and phone calls. If you contact us directly, we keep the details you give us so we can reply.
• Bookings and gift cards. Appointments and gift card purchases are processed by our booking provider, Mangomint (see "Third-party services" below). Details you enter there, such as your name, contact details and payment information, are collected by Mangomint, not by this website.
• Usage information. When you visit the site, we and our analytics provider collect technical and usage data such as pages viewed, links clicked (for example "Book Now", phone and gift card links), device and browser type, approximate location and IP address.

How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry and follow up about franchise opportunities you asked about.
• To provide and manage bookings and gift cards through our booking provider.
• To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
• To keep the site secure and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the franchise form to send marketing beyond the franchise conversation you asked for.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure site traffic. It uses cookies and similar technologies to recognise a browser between visits and report on usage in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site itself does not use advertising cookies. The admin area, used only by our team, sets a session cookie to keep staff signed in.

Third-party services

The site relies on the following providers, each of which handles information under its own privacy policy:

• Mangomint — online booking, gift cards and the booking widget (booking.mangomint.com).
• Google Analytics — site usage statistics.
• Google Maps — the embedded map showing our location. Loading it lets Google receive your IP address and browser details.
• Google Fonts — the typefaces used on the site, which are loaded from Google's servers.
• Zoho Mail — the email service that delivers franchise inquiries to us.
• Instagram, Facebook and TikTok — we link to our profiles. Following those links takes you to their sites, where their own policies apply.

Some of these providers are located outside Canada, so your information may be processed and stored in other countries, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.

Sharing

We share personal information only with the service providers listed above as needed to run the site and our services, or when the law requires it. We do not rent or sell your information.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as the law requires, and then delete or anonymize it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the personal information we hold, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and restricted access to our admin tools. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to us keeping or using it, subject to legal and contractual limits. To do so, email info@liorealounge.ca. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 through it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
